C&O as well as Virginian ran a 2-6-6-6. The C&O version was known as the Allegheny, and Virginian's was known as the Blue Ridge. I'm trying to locate actual motion film footage of one of these locomotives, and haven't seen any yet! All I've found so far are MTS and model footage. Does anyone knows of anything available on VHS or DVD (or even something online), that would be great!
I have a video tape i just got a few weeks ago that that has a little Allegheny footage. I will look for it tomorrow. Stay tuned...
