i would love to hear some storys about working on the steamers of the B&M. Btw its been almost a year seince ive been on!

Thats interesting, though one type of locomotive i find interesting on the B&M was their Berchshires, the top of the boiler overhanged the front of the locomotive
ok back in the 30's, 4-6-2 #3666 was heading a passenger train from portland to boston, when going though portsmouth,NH it was going over an old trestle. it collapesed and #3666, its tender, and a combine plunge into the Portsmouth harbor, when the combine detatches from the rest of the train it sets their air brakes and stops the rest from derailing too. that locomotive is still there, sadley the dead bodies are probily still there in the cab and combine......
