Does anyone know if C&O ever put a Vandy tender with a Berkshire engine? I started breaking in a new Berkshire and had a Bachmann Vandy Tender on the table. I put the two together. Doesn't look bad and the pickup from the tender is good. Just curious.
I have an extensive library of C&O books and photos and have never seen anything but the stock tender on a C&O 2-8-4. The engines that did have the vandy tendy that Bachmann makes were the 2-8-2, 4-6-2, 2-6-6-2, 2-8-8-2, 4-8-2. I believe thats it. But It probably would look cool behind a 2-8-4.
