Thanks, FriscoBob, I like Orange too (usually on Rio Grande locos.) Russell: thanks for posting those shots!
I'm enjoying this thread because it has made me take a good look at my inventory and has forced me to take photos of the same. Unfortunately I'm out of the counting for awhile. Anyone have the rest of the 20's? Gary
Hi Flash, Mine, #10 & #14, are from Delaware Valley Freight Cars. On the bottom of the cars is molded "DVFC" and a date. Gary
Bowser sells the old DV stock, as I have several of those great cylindricals as well. I have no access to my stock, but when we get to 3000 and 5300, I'm good to go!
Yes. Delaware Valley. Gold Medal Models sells a detail kit for those. I don't have a 26. Looks like it is up to Europe this morning.
To quote the guy with a jammed rocket on his fighter in Independence Day, "Sorry I'm late, Mr. President!" Here's #10: and 21: Both are Atlas caboose kitbashes to GN prototypes. I have 67 ready as well when we get there.
Interesting information. I think that these are my only DV cars, since I have only 2 boxes that read "Delaware Valley." I do have an empty (car is on the layout) box from Bowser, and I'll have to figure out which car it is. All the more reason this thread has been useful to me. :tb-biggrin: Gay
Russell: Good catch! I have some street addresses that may come in handy, too. Tower 3 has already passed, so too late for that one. Number 27:
