Hi all, new member and first post, so please be kind
I decided to build myself a cheap portable command station using the above with JMRI to run it.. to keep this short, everything works well and as expected but ONLY on software version 4.1.6
Latest software is now V5.0.9 but nothing seems to work, not even the throttle. In fact none of the V5 software versions work…
Am I doing something stupid is the million dollar question?
Yes I have cut the Vin link but have NO jumpers across the Motor shield. must be a software issue surely as V4 works a treat.
    Any help appreciated

Hi all, and by way of an update, with special thanks to Sumner, I now have a fully portable Command Station for less than $50!
The solution lies with the limited memory of the Arduino UNO module, and beyond V4 software you need to disable the programming support function slider during the set up loading screen... easy peasy this was. Thanks :sneaky:
