Howdy, I am looking for a Digitrax Genesis starter set for a friend. He dosen't like the looks of the Zepher, says it looks too much like a power pack and he wants walk around throttles. I have checked out lots of on-line shops to no avail. I am aware that Digitrax has discontinued this set but hoped I might be able to scrounge one up by putting the word out. If you know of a used set or if you know a shop that still has one I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks in advance 2slim
I would really recommend the Zephry over the Genesis. With the Zephry you get decoder read back, the power supply is included and you can add a UT-1 if you want one for about $60. I would recommend a DT-300 over the UT-1 though. If he doesn't like the looks of the Zephry then how about hiding it. David
Ncng, Thanks for the reply, I also posted to the Yahoo Groups Digitrax list and was able to score a old Empire Builder and a DT-100 throttle for a decient price, so I think that will actually be better for him. Cheers 2slim
