I am trying to implement dimming effects to a passenger cars using a Lenz decoder .... (DCC System, NMRA complaint)

In the link below, the light board is connected to the motor wires on the decoder of LE077XF to run the lights without additional electronics. And this approach gives a complete control of dimming the lights -- from completely off to completely on, and 128 steps in between.

Do you have more information regarding this type of solution?

    Thanks in advance, Mauricio

I am not clear on what you are asking for. I went to the website in question and it gives complete details on installing the decoder.

You can really use any decoder you want for this. It appears that size was the issue. All you are doing is installing a standard DCC locomotive type decoder. Instead of controlling a motor you are controlling the lighting intensity. You would control the intensity just like you would control another locomotive through the use of a throttle. This means that you will have to dedicate a throttle to the lights. This will limit the availability of the throttles for other things like running trains.
