7312 has arrived at Saratoga Springs this morning on train 552 from Montreal. 08 Nov. 2000 @ 0523 hrs [This message has been edited by Big Al (edited 08 November 2000).]
7312 does look great, but it doesn't go very well. Unit has been shopped at Saratoga for repair of an electrical problem (won't load) "Run it may, Shine it must!"

7312 will be in use around the Capital District until Dec 16 when it will power a 'Toys for Tots' special between Albany and Plattsburg. After that it will be cycled to Binghamton for inspection and should be a nice Christmas present in the area for Bernie O'Brien, its namesake.
Speaking of Bernie O'Brien, here is another shot by Eric taken on the same day. More images can be found within the DHVM which also contains a link to Eric's web site. ------------------ Stourbridge Lion stourbridge_lion@yahoo.com Delaware and Hudson Virtual Museum
7312 has again developed electrical problems. Unit failed while working in Corinth, NY 12/22 and had to be shut down and drained as it was in a residential area and could not be left running all night. Stand by for further details. Maybe it can make it to Bing. for New Years!
