I remember reading about this unit. It will be interesting to see the Lighting Stripe once again...

7312 does look great, but it doesn't go very well. Unit has been shopped at Saratoga for repair of an electrical problem (won't load)

7312 will be in use around the Capital District until Dec 16 when it will power a 'Toys for Tots' special between Albany and Plattsburg. After that it will be cycled to Binghamton for inspection and should be a nice Christmas present in the area for Bernie O'Brien, its namesake.

7312 has again developed electrical problems. Unit failed while working in Corinth, NY 12/22 and had to be shut down and drained as it was in a residential area and could not be left running all night.

Stand by for further details. Maybe it can make it to Bing. for New Years!
