I don't have any pictures yet, but what's your Operations Colors? Any Varnish too?

The AOW took some of the colors of it's parents and combined them into it's own. Locos have Platinum Mist trucks, plows, hoods and noses, Cascade Green cabs, side-sills, walkways, handrails and pilots, Santa Fe Yellow nose and tailends, White BN style nose stipes, Saftey White hand grabs and Flat Black anti-glare pannels. Our Passenger fleet was left in ATSF and BN Colors but the fleet was retired in 1999. Amtrak now operates our Passenger Trains.

The only short line,The Tweetsie & Weetsie RR", has tourist passenger coaches With Heavenly Twilight roofs, Shadow Blush sides, trimed in Naughty Nitie Charcoal, with Tahiti Sunset Pink truck sideframes to match the engine. It is the only privately owned train running in the valley. It makes one round trip each week from the Retirement home for Old Coggers, to the rest home for Tired Elderly Dolls. They are a cheerful lot!

The M.A.T. has a base colour that is maroon. Trim is in old gold. Numbers and letters are crimson red and white. Locos and passenger cars I have done so far look rich.
The choice of maroon was a financial one because a paint manufacturer in Maberly over produced a maroon paint for GM cars. M.A.T. purchased this paint for ten cents on the dollar so that became the colour of choice. The gold comes from the source of financing which is the gold mines that the family owned.
Red lettering comes from the M.A.T. logo. [IMG]
    This is free-lancing isn't it?
    Pictures to come!

The Flint Hills & Western is a short line running North-South and West in the flint hills of Kansas. Our colors are ACL purple and Santa Fe yellow. Herald is an arrowhead with FH&W inside the outline. F-units have a compound curve around the nose that runs back as wings on the sides in silver, GPs and SDs have yellow ends with silver barricade stripes and a silver stripe down the long hood. Still working on the paint scheme for business and passenger rolling stock.

The Oklahoma and North Eastern's colors are blue with yellow nose stripes, handrails and lettering. Currently the shops are looking at repainting the S2 in the old Northeastern
Oklahoma (maroon and gray), which is also the old colors of the New York, Sesquehanna &
    Western.
    Since it's currently 1976 on the O&NE, we're
looking at painting a caboose in Bicentennial
colors ( one I'm currently modifying to look
    line a former NEO caboose).

The Central of Colorado colours are a basic dark green, with yellow noses on the road switchers, and yellow pilots on the covered wagons.
