Everyone keeps telling me about JnJ trains SD40T2 shells,and yet I have NEVER seen one and everytime I have called JnJ on this,they have lied and said they will be out in a couple of months,and now the new owners are saying that there not doing them. So whats the true story. and does anyone have a pic of one of these shells. David
My take on this... If the previous owners said they were on the way, then take that with a couple of pounds of salt. If the current owner said they aren't being done, then believe it. He was the one contracted to produce a lot of the JnJ parts and bodies and has 'bought' the business from the rather tardy previous owners. There was a problem with payment for his services so future projects were put on hold pending resolution. I would say if it is to be done then it will become known when it is in the box, so to speak. Bring on the Missabe SD40-3's! Gary.
I got two of JNJ's GP50 shells with the BN style cabs, they are good looking shells and can be mounted on GP40 frames. They apear to be carbon copys of Katos GP50 shells with a new cab. Kevin
