Life-Like F-9 conversion

    I have some Life-Like F-9s that I am preparing to convert to MTL couplers.

    This is going to leave a large, unnecessary opening at the front. The shells are going to be re-painted and decaled eventually.

    Does anybody have any suggestions about covering up the opening?

    Use an MT 1021 kit for the pilot.

    Ive used a MT1015 and filled the rest of the area with styrene cut and bent to fit. Its a bit of a chore but fun to do at the same time.
