I am part way through putting a Digitrax decoder into a Rivarossi Y6B mallet. The instructions from the internet link I found makes no mention of isolating the motor on the Y6B. It only mentions isolating the cab mounted black motor. The gold motor mounted in the boiler, is it already islolated from the frame? It will be much more work to pull the motor and isolate it from the frame weight.
