It's been a while, but I had pics published in Trains and Railfan & Railroad- even had a shot of the Hugo Heritage Railroad excursion train on its first trip on the Kiamichi into Paris, TX, published in Texas Monthly (alas, the train is no more). The latter netted me 150 bucks (woohoo!). But, it's been a long time since I submitted anything for publication. Keep plugging away, Alex- you may not get rich from it, but it's nice to have your stuff published.
Alex, Start establishing a portfolio of everything you get published. It could (1) help you get into the college of your choice or (2) help you get that first job later on. It helped me do both in the 1960s.
Bob- Thanks I very much appreciate the kind work. Pete- I dont plan to go to college(Cause I have my eyes set on something else) If I did got to college id probably go to be a Game Creator. I would really like to be an engineer tho. Im also gonna be takin a safty test sooner or later at Kentucky Railway Museum to be certifed to work there.
