With the emergence of 3D printing, does anyone think that taking a Challenger locomotive, reducing the leading truck to a single pair of wheels, and coming up with a new shell (and replacing the tender) would/could make an acceptable model of an N&W A Class? Maybe there is an existing trailing truck that would be better suited too. Has anyone done this or seen any N scale A class locos? In the hopefully not too distant future I hope to build a model railroad centered around the N&W steam servicing station at Williamson WV. Y's and J's can be found but the A's have been elusive.
