Here is video #3 of the layout. Mike
Here is what I have been doing lately. I have a good start to the backdrop on the right hand wall. Mike
No it is all commercial Instant Horrizons except for a couple small hills behind the farthest away buildings. Thanks , Mike
Somehow I missed video #3. it looks like you are up and running. Have you done any switching yet, or are you waiting for more completion before doing that?
Hey Geeky , I have just shuffled a few car aroun d but I like to do scenery first as well as track painting and ballast. Thanks , Mike
Looks like fun Mike, and it looks great too. Love the build threads guys and gals, so please don't hesitate to add your own.
Hi Mike, Been a while since I checked out this thread. Nice job of blending the retaining wall, backdrop, and flats. Nice feeling of depth. Tom
Thanks Tom , I have been trying to get out there to put in some foliage but buildings keep me at the bench. Mike
Here is a Walthers kit I have been working on for the layout. All I need to do is install the side steps and name the building. It will likely be the Miricle Furniture Company whode slogan is "If it's a great peice of furniture, It's a Miricle". Mike
Thanks BC I will work on the other structure I need done tomorrow and see how they both fit into the layout. Thanks , Mike
I have finally been able to get a little work done on the Miller Place Sub. Here is video #4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVSmqlkoeI8&feature=youtube_gdata Thanks , Mike
I really like how your backdrop and that tunnel/retaining wall areas blend so nicely. Is any of the greenery hand painted? Or is it completely an added scene? BTW- Neat special effect with those birds in the sky...
Thanks BC , I did also touch up some of the greens in the two combined printed backdrops there. The birds were done with a Sharpie. Thanks , Mike
