As we all know nothing on the web is forever. Something I have been doing for a long time is saving threads I don't want to loose to my local hardrive. It is easy: Click File Choose "Save Page As" "Save As" or some variation depending on your browser Create a folder for saved threads Create a folder for the thread you want to save Save the thread in that folder Important Note: The "HTM" files will be in the "\How To" folder. Not in the folder you saved the page to. I would suggest trying it a few times to see what I mean. It is easy. My hardrive looks something like this: Trains > How To > Make Drawbars Trains > How To > Fix Kato num 4 turnouts - John Sing Trains > How To > Prepare shells for painting Notes: For a multi page thread you would have to save each page to the same folder If the thread is updated you would have to resave. Some browsers have "Make available off line". I personaly do not trust that as much as my method.

Yes. I burn two of everything. I keep track of interesting threads via a bookmark folder in Favorites. Boxcab E50
Yes, "Favorites" can be very useful but What if the site goes away for any reason? Looking through 10s of poorly organized or named favorites can take a long long time.
