here is a pic of my passenger cars. What do you think. The first car has the Bachmann spectrum tender trucks with pickups I am going to use it for lights and dcc pickup for the loco. My question is do they look ok I know there not passenger trucks but pick will be good with this setup. Also is the car spacing ok. thanks kenny
The trucks look good under there, and the ride height still matches the other which surprised me. What engine are you going to pull these with? The Bman 4-4-0?
The second car has had the trucks changed as well so both are the same height. Yes I will be pulling these with the Bachmann 4-4-0 . Also will have one more combine this will have a sound decoder in it and the wires to the tender.
Possibly the only other truck that could work well under those cars would be the Kato caboose trucks if available. The Kato passenger car trucks also have pickup but I believe the wheelbase would be too long for those cars not to mention too modern looking. But it looks okay to me and beats having to try and fabricate something.
thanks I could use wipers with the micro trains light passenger but I had problem with them to much drag or not enough poor contact. I think these will work great and it will be only for the combine car first car after loco to support all the electrical components. Also with the Bachmann trucks I won't have pick up issues as much.
