Happy New Year to you all, As we start off 2024, first thing is I would like to thank each and every one of you that post pictures here on TrainBoard! Each of you are the folks who make the Railfan Photos of the Week thread possible so THANK YOU!!!!! I’d also like to say thank you for all the comments on the thread throughout the year and for appreciating my sometimes a bit odd sense of humor I try and add. With that said, thought it might be fun to take a look back at 2023. It was unique year in that January 1, 2023 was on a Sunday and so was December 31, 20223 so there were 53 editions of Railfan Photos of the Week in 2023. We’ll cut that back to 52 for 2024. "10/01/2023 - AC4400 playing in the rain" Was outstanding as a photograph. And yes, thanks for the massive amount of time and energy put into this.
