Misplaced the Kodachrome, or couldn't afford both the Kodachrome and the processing envelope? Thanks, BNSF Fan!

More great photos and fun captions.

That last one, with Kurt Moose almost missing his train? His tardiness must have been because of the swing-nose frog, a rare and endangered species of those parts. They tend to congregate around railroad tracks, which sort of explains their endangered status. I don't blame Kurt for getting a look-see at this rare amphibian.

A swing nose crossing or moveable point frog is a device used at a railway turnout to eliminate the gap at the common crossing (a.k.a. frog) which can cause damage and noise. Swing Nose Crossing has high comfort level and is used for continuous movement of rolling stock over gapless tracks.

Basically, the frog itself has a movable point.
