yup! It looks like a work train to me. A couple of gons and a crane with a boom car. I am in the process of putting together a work train to run during our model RR club's annual "Open House" . Qualification runs have begun for those people who want to run trains during the open house. Charlie
Love to see those old Alcos. I was fortunate to see some last month when I visited the WP&Y. However, those were the rather diminutive Montreal Locomotive Works narrow gauge export model DL535E. Still Alcos in my book.
