I doubt there are any Bicentennial units from any railroad still in service in those colors. Probably some Bicentennial engine must've been retired in those colors and gone to a museum in that form, or else been restored to that scheme. But most were repainted by the end of the 70s.

I believe she was Gripped as the SP6833 and later wrecked in an accident in Tucson in the early 1990s. She gone!

No the SSW 9389 was rebuilt as the SP 6833. The SSW 9389 lives on in our memories. Who ever heard of SP 6833?

The prototype might be gone but the Athearn model is still in service on the layout.

I'd love to have a Bicentennial Tunnel Motor on my layout... But it's hard to justify a 90-dollar loco that simply doesn't fit my layout. The only reason it would be seen on the Grande was a run back west after Bicentennial celebrations back east.
    If there were such things.

There were alot of different gatherings of Bi-Centennial units both east and west for photo shoots, so it would be possible. :)
