    Hi All,
Hoping to add mobile decoders to Bachmann Thomas, Percy and James locomotives. Looking at the Digitrax dz123 and dz126t decoders. Anyone know of anything smaller? I only need engine control, no lights. Thanks!

I've used the 123 and 126T and still have quite a few that I'll install but after buying them started to also use the ESU decoder shown above. Smaller and more functions. Even if you don't need more I'd go that route since they aren't much more and are suppose to have superior motor control. More info here...

I installed Zimo decoders in a couple of decoder-ready, N scale Atlas S2's that run very smoothly, and will creep along at scale walking speed.
