Knoxville and Holston River Railroad was recently the recipient of a 2-8-0 built by Alco in 1890. They'll be restoring it to run on their Three Rivers Rambler in a couple years. It sat in the City of Knoxville's Chilhowee Park for 50 years. Southern donated it to the city back in the '50s. I've examined this engine many times over the last 25 years, somebody has got a lot of work ahead of them! It'll be great to be able to go down to the river and get on board for their regular excursions-almost like having my own.
