Does anyone have pics or info on Southern Railway Milk cars? I've only been able to find a couple of blurry images, you can tell they are milk cars and lettered for Southern, but that's all. In fact any info on any milk cars used in North/South Carolina in the late 1930's would be appreciated.
That is before my time period but there is a yahoo newsgroup that I belong to that someone might know the answer to that. southern_railway@yahoogroups.com I would sign up and ask there. It is an awesome email list with some incredible firsthand stories of the last days of steam and early diesel years.
