    Never Before Seen

    Wow! I don't think I have seen the pictures before. I found some "after" pictures to make a model, but I have never seen pictures of the accident itself. Very good. I suppose you were driving at the time? How long had it been there? Thanks.

    My Dad took these as his train rolled by right after they reopened the line. So I don't know long it had been there.

    Wow, thanks for posting these! I've seen shots of the unit sitting at Taylor before it was rebuilt, but never of it "in the field" immediately after the accident. Do you have any dates on these shots, or any details on the wreck?

    It happen in April 1981, it was a head on collosion near Moscow, TX in East Texas. I don't remember if any one was killed in the accident or not.
