These should sell like hotcakes. I hope FVM won't do small runs. That would be tragic.

I'll get one just to go on my display shelf! I'm glad FVM is putting out some stuff that the "big boys" are afraid to model. Thanks FVM!

If FVM is doing more and more MILW specific gear, can we dare hope for an EF-4 Little Joe?

Don't forget, JnJ Trains has had a kit available for years. Still, it's great to see one from FVM.

Yeah I have a JNJ one I am working on right now but I have to change the bolsters to make the MT BX express truck(which is the only thing close to the right truck) from hitting the porches. Hopefully with this release, MT or even FVM will make the correct truck now.

Which railroads purchased some of these for use from the Milwaukee? Any shortlines?

Weyerhaueser purchased 2 or 3 for their Chehalis Western operation here in Wa state. And also St Maries RR in Idaho purchased one. I am sure there were more but those are the only 2 I know of.

Are the proprietors of FVM Milwaukee nuts, or what? I sure hope they do the MILW electrics.

Does FVM ever do undecs? They would look nice in "Grey and Grandure" green with the logo.

They've found themselves a niche market, unfilled. The Milwaukee was a very sizeable and long lived railroad. It has a surprisingly large following.

If the ribbies sell, I would believe they would do smooth sides as well- Riveted and welded.

Then maybe they'll do a Minneapolis & St. Louis bay window. :D

I have already primed my hobby shop to be ready.... And he seemed excited when I told him of the announcement.

Yes they definitely have Ken. And what surprises me about the MILW is that they had more freight cars than the GN and the NP, and yet it seems like at least in N scale that mfg. turn the other way when it comes to producing MILW equipment.
