the ribsides are coming! The ribsides are coming! Get out your dead presidents! I thought these would NEVER come out in N scale. Thank you FVM!
I'll get one just to go on my display shelf! I'm glad FVM is putting out some stuff that the "big boys" are afraid to model. Thanks FVM!
Yeah I have a JNJ one I am working on right now but I have to change the bolsters to make the MT BX express truck(which is the only thing close to the right truck) from hitting the porches. Hopefully with this release, MT or even FVM will make the correct truck now.
Weyerhaueser purchased 2 or 3 for their Chehalis Western operation here in Wa state. And also St Maries RR in Idaho purchased one. I am sure there were more but those are the only 2 I know of.
The ribsides are coming! the ribsides are coming! The ribsides are coming! I'll take a pack of.......OOPS sorry wrong forum These are cool, too bad WM didn't use them....Mike
They've found themselves a niche market, unfilled. The Milwaukee was a very sizeable and long lived railroad. It has a surprisingly large following. Boxcab E50
If the ribbies sell, I would believe they would do smooth sides as well- Riveted and welded. Then maybe they'll do a Minneapolis & St. Louis bay window. I have already primed my hobby shop to be ready.... And he seemed excited when I told him of the announcement. Boxcab E50
Yes they definitely have Ken. And what surprises me about the MILW is that they had more freight cars than the GN and the NP, and yet it seems like at least in N scale that mfg. turn the other way when it comes to producing MILW equipment.
