It looks like that tree has just got to go. ------------------ Dave Winter Owner/Operator Winter Valley Regional Railway
Dave, that track asks for some ballast. Are these aristo cars you're running? Do you use the aristo TE for control? How much Amps do you use? Just curious paul ------------------ Paul Van Herwegen Rappannahock Terminal Railway [This message has been edited by Rappannahock Terminal (edited 19 September 2000).] [This message has been edited by Rappannahock Terminal (edited 19 September 2000).]
Paul Yes, all the cars are Aristo. I modify them all somewhat to CN types keeping in mind that they're "outdoor" trains. I remove roofwalks and lower brake wheels and ladders if the paint scheme is "70's" or better. I added 4 extra hatches to the CN reefer. That sort of thing. The ballist will go down in the spring when all the new sub-roadbed has settled into place. That way I can level it off as the final wiring goes down. I have about 50lbs of fine chicken grit set aside already. Dave ------------------ Dave Winter Owner/Operator Winter Valley Regional Railway
