If anyone is like me and doesn't like the beeping sound the Digitrax DT300 makes when you increase the throttle, you can turn it off. </font>
    • With the system on, unplug the throttle, press and hold "select" and plug the throttle back in. You will see the options menu come up. It should say the Option #1 value is 01. Turn the right hand knob clockwise to increase the value to 05. Now press "select" again. It will then display the value for Option #2. Do nothing now, and the throttle will eventually "time-out", displaying the normal run mode menu. Now the throttle will be silent! [IMG]</font>
I am posting this to other Forums, so pardon the repetition.

Those beeps used to drive me crazy! Guess what though! Turning off the beeps solved another problem with my DT300. When I used to turn the little throttle knobs, the throttle value would not keep pace with the turning of the knob. For instance, if the throttle was set to 35, and I turned the knob up quickly, the throttle/speed value might end up on 15, instead of the 50 I was shooting for. That stops a train in it's tracks! (pun intended). Turning off the beeps solves this problem. Evidently the beeps caused this! Darn beeps! I'm going to post this on a separate topic so people don't miss it.
