    Gaping Unitrack

I want to start wiring for auto switching and reversing. I temporary glued down the track with hot glue and it’s a little difficult getting up. One piece sounded like I broke something.

Anyway I have to remove almost the entire track to install insulators and feeders. I’m thinking maybe I should just say the heck with it and cut gaps with my dremel tool and drill holes for soldering feeder wires. This is the one big advantage of laying down flex, you don’t have to worry about the wiring until the track is laid.

So, can I do this without too much damage? I'm not worrying so much about gaping the track as I am with the soldering. It doesn’t look as easy as soldering Code 80.
