Not sure what all you have in mind. I have used a couple of products by this outfit, for changing formats and such. Might be worth a look? They have limited function freeware. And paid versions which are capable of...? http://www.nch.com.au/index.html
I've been looking for something to let me increase color saturation slightly - some of my fall videos from last year need help...
I've been using AVS Video Editor (http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Editor.aspx) to make my youTube videos. Videos are edited on a zoomable timeline with the ability to add multiple simultaneous channels. Tons of predefined transitions. It's similar to using the old Adobe Premiere. It runs pretty fast for video software. And produces great videos. Greg Amer The Industrial Lead gregamer.com
Free - Windows Movie Maker. It's surprisingly robust for a free piece of software within MS Office. I've been using Adobe Premiere Elements for years. Although I have to update now, since my version does not support HD files from Sony.
I've been using Windows Movie Maker (especially for "green-screen" shots) as well as editing the videos online in YouTube. John
I just bought one of those mini HD cameras, takes amazing video but its in HD AVI and windows movie maker wont let me edit the video, unless it is a WMV file. Any ideas how to convert a AVI HD file to work with Movie Maker in HD? I have found some pay programs but they are a lot of money for a couple MRR videos. Thanks for any help
I sure will and Thank you!! I went to that site before but really didnt know which one to try LOL. I have down loaded and had to clean up a few so far. I hate when they advertize they are free, but when you get to the down load they want $$. I wish they would just be up front about it you know. Thanks again.
I really enjoyed windows movie maker but it got bugs in it that muted my PC, so its no good for me now. Any more suggestions for easy to use the video editing software?
If you have an iPhone 7 that takes really good video, download the iMovie App. If you’re looking for a video software to use, I bought Wondershare Filmora. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Another video editing program to look at is NCH "VideoPad Video Editor". Very similar to the AVS one mentioned above from the looks. They also have a Wave File Editor as well, for sound which is pretty good as well although is a bit of a learning curve.
I use Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. You can get it for about $30, has lots and lots of cool features, and is fairly simple to use (for the basics, at least).
I don't think they have a "Free Version" just a "Trial Version". If I am right then yes, you will need purchase the software at some point. I don't recall what I paid, something like $49 but that was for life.
For Windows machines, Vegas Movie Studio 14 is on sale for only $29. Their full-featured version, Vegas Pro, is my top pick for PC editing software (I actually prefer it to Final Cut), on sale for $149. Lots of built-in effects. Pro-level timeline editing UI. Stable. Easiest of the pro editors to learn and use.
