Has anyone out there had experience installing decoders in Walthers' GP15-1 (HO scale)? I have a total of 9 I am working on (6 for my freelance home road and 3 being converted into Appalachicola Northern GP15T's) and am fast approaching the installation stage. Any help, comments, etc. appreciated. George Widener ------------------ You start with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. Welcome to TrainBoard George, I'm sure you'll get some more responses to your query, tell your friends about TrainBoard Check out <ttx-dcc.com> That's Tony's Train Exchange. He's got a lot of installtion photos. George, what size/brand decoders are you using? Have you already purchased them? I just bought a Zimo decoder for HO and it's tiny, around .5" is the longest dimension. ------------------ When in doubt, empty your magazine. Thanks for the welcome, Chris. I was one of the original members but had to re-register due to a change of e-mail address and an absence of a couple of months... I am using the NCE system (purchased from Tony's might I add) and I wholeheartedly agree with you that his shop is a *great* help when it comes to DCC. I already asked Tony my question but hoped someone out here had experience with this installation. I don't think that space will really be a problem with the GP15-1's it really is quite roomy under there....
