Great photos I love those BNSF pictures, especially that one where you're on the tracks, looking into the tunnel with that War Bonnet comin' towards you. Please tell me that train was stopped And that LMX, What Happened? Great site, I give it two thumbs up ------------------ Drew What's that? A train horn? Sorry, gotta go!
Hi Drew. Thanks for visiting. The tunnel shot was done with a telephoto lense and eastbound trains are on a grade. Yes, I was standing in the middle of the tracks, but the trains are creeping up the grade. The LMX shot was taken at Needles and was involved in an accident in September. Thank you for you kind compliments. ------------------ Keep on Track'N at www.phcomputing.com Harold Riley
Super pictures, as always, Harold I like the pictures of Barstow yards from a high vantage point. Were they taken from the opposite side of the tracks from the town main street, as I don't think it is much above tracks level. ------------------ Alan Curtis. Moderator. Thank you Alan. These shots were taken from a hill between Route 66 and the tracks. There's this hill, accessible by 4x4. ------------------ Keep on Track'N at www.phcomputing.com Harold Riley
