Back to the wayback machine for me...

In April 2005, a westbound North Yard-Roper (SLC) manifest exits Tunnel 7 in heavy flock:

In July 2021, a San Luis & Rio Grande freight returns to Alamosa, CO, at first light. Led by a pair of ex-CSX SD70Ms, the train has just passed Occidental siding. Sleeping in the truck on the side of County Road 440 netted this view:

A former Grand Trunk Geep working the yard in Jackson MS on Jan. 17, 2024. I think I have a picture of this unit back when it was still in GT paint but would take more time to locate it than I have right now. :)

From August 1983 at the Rice Yard hump in Waycross, GA. Those are SCL H-15s, former SAL SDP-35s modified for hump service. A small group of us were guests of the SCL that day. It was hard work, but somebody had to do it. :)

Valentine's Day 2024 dawned with a fresh coat of snow at Wyo JCT. NS 11N was running with light power. KHO3 was led by GP18 1802 solo, long-hood forward.

I love those "golden oldie" shots! (y)

That's beautiful! :) For a second though, my caffeine-deprived brain thought it was a very good model... I had to check if I was in the right thread!

A golden oldie GP38-2 still working at it in 2024! It still has the old blower bulge, so it's before '82 or so. A real oldie!

A nice variety in paint schemes, engines and rolling stock. Some SCL, some Family Lines, and even an ACL boxcar. Nice!:)

Nice countryside! The only way to see it... Though at this moment, if one is standing on top of the train, I have one one piece of advice: DUCK!!! :D

The other photos are great too. Thanks to all for taking the photos - keep up the great work!(y)
