Here are three cars that I finished this past week, that I have been working on for a while. Branchline 1000B Boxcar Kit with Full Fishbelly Side Sill, Used the Despatch Roofs and Ends as these cars were built at the Despatch Shops. Substituted an Athearn 10' YSD from their Railbox kit and extended the door quides to accomodate the 10' wide door, also used the 4 rung ladders from a another kit instead of the grabs in the Branchline kit to match the photos of this car. Installed Details West Cushion Underframe Coupler Pockets. Painted with Floquil Jade Green and lettered with Highball Graphics decals. Eastern Car Works 2600CF Airslide Covered Hopper Kit, added airlines and A-line Sill Steps, painted with Scalecoat II MOW Gray and lettered with Microscale Decals in the early paint scheme. A former co-worker started a new job at CR England last week. I had previously purchased a trailer from Brian (flight2000) but I had nothing to pull it with. So I pulled out a Lineside Models 2003 Kenworth Anteater T2000 kit I had and found a Microscale set of decals at my LHS. I added a fuel tank to the trailer and a couple of small decals to it, and painted and decaled the tractor. Here is the completed model picking up a back haul at Stone Container Corp.
