Thanks for the welcome Brent, now which is the limey and which is the outlaw lol. I look forward to maintaining the standard of the N scale forum
Welcome Colonel, I have enjoyed your input and have visited your web layout. And I am responsible for the shipping of two CN Dash 9's down into your country. So if you go to the Brisbane show and see them, well...you can know some one trainsboard helped out. Congrats...from a Captain...lol.
Paul RSN48 put me onto a couple of CN Dash 9s. I have been after some since I first met you at Bankstown. I also have weathered and completed the 50 Precision Masters Hoppers you put me onto, they will also be in Brisbane. Gary is planning to come up for a look next month, you should come with him. I have arranged some spartan accomodation (Thanks to the job) so expenses would be low.
Thanks for the invite Mick but 10 hours in a car with Gary could be dangerous lol. Actually I'm don't get the time off like Gary does. Make sure Gary gets some pictures of the hoppers so I can have a look.
Mick, I'm considering Flying up on Saturday morningand flying home on Monday morning. I have a sister in law who lives in Kangaroo Point Brisbane but not sure how far it is from the entertainment centre. Maybe it's best I stay at the Army camp incase we got out on the Saturday night lol. [ 13 April 2001: Message edited by: Colonel ]
The exhibition is at the Brisbane Show Grounds, across the bridge from Kangaroo Point and through the valley. I spoke to Gary last night, and wil arrange a couple of passes for you both.
Mick, I booked my flights today so I'm definately coming I'll be arriving on Saturday morning and leaving on Monday night. Is it ok if I stay at the accomodation you have organised? Can you email me your phone number so I can give you a call in the next day or so. Thanks
