Always been curious about what is the perceived beginning of On30. A year would be nice, and who were the first folks we may have heard of in this scale. Thanks, Jim
It goes back to at least the time just after WWII. Maybe early 1950's. I wonder if it actually even had a "name" back then? The first time I ever knew it existed was an article, I believe in RMC, about forty years ago.
Argh. I don't recall the exact year Bachmann entered the market. But much like what the effects on N were of N-Trak, Kadee and the mail order discounters, when the public caught on to the ease of availability, that is when On30 really took off. It was about fifteen years ago.
