I know my mom has more of these in her albums, but I was able to make these out of some slides. I'll never forget going to the B&O Railroad Museum when I was 6 years old. Such beauties!
Stories of how some folks first interest was sparked can be fascinating. How lucky you are, not just that it happened, butt to also have such photos backing up your memories.
My association with the B&O began a little earlier A family association as well as a employment association.
Highly recommended. It doesn't have the extensive collection of some others, like Kirkwood (St. Louis), Union IL or Green Bay. But the sheer antiquity of parts of the collection makes it something you can't see anywhere else in the world.
