Hi, I'm in the process of getting ideas for our new N Scale layout and one of the ideas we're considering was the Wisconsin Central project layout which ran in Model Railroader magazine in 1997 the other is the Burlington Northern Project from 1990. I wish to know which issue the track plan appeared in according to the lady I spoke to at Kalmbach she has it as issue July 97 but MR's online back issue page shows track planning as August 97. Before I order the wrong issue could someone confirm which issue it is, as a single back issue from MR cost's me $20 (airmail to UK) and I hate to pay $40 for 1 magazine which I don't need.

    Thanks
    Shaun

Shortiner (you're not the Shortliner Jack on a UK forum??) have you ordered from him recently? because I read that the USPS no longer will ship surface to international destinations hence kalmbach charging nearly $15 priority airmail plus cost of magazine.

Hi again, I have managed to get hold of the Burlington Northern Book but I just paid a fortune for 4 mags which should have had the WC project in from someone off ebay only to find that the said articles have been removed (not mentioned in the auction but that's another matter) so I was wondering if someone could scan me the plan or atleast give me the dimensions of the WC project.

Well then we have spoken before on RMweb (7F 2-8-0) it's a small world, which I now no longer post on due to my disappointment with some new UK stock I bought so I went back to the US scene. I have managed to get alot of stuff I needed sent to my in-laws back in North Carolina and will be picking it up in 10 days. It seems that the USPS no longer will ship surface mail hence we only get quoted airmail prices but with the $to £ at over $2/£1 now is a good time to buy.
