The other buildings are in place, the green line will be the boundary of the industry, not sure if I should chain link fence it in or not, the kickback to the other industries make that kinda awkward. The bottom photo shows an old steem boiler that will be rusted up and overgrown in weeds. It is not that noticeable but I like semi hidden details. Sent from my Xperia Z using Tapatalk 2
Looking much better Matt. Makes an interesting area of an awkward space. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
The other corner will be quite compact and busy as well. View attachment 56931 The track to the small mill and lumber yard will be done in a similar way to some of the track on mikelhh layout using short lengths of track and almost bury it in the dirt. Looking forward to getting this track laid. Sent from my Xperia Z using Tapatalk 2
It can be run now, but it is very limited as to what can be done! Sent from my Xperia Z using Tapatalk 2
DC at the moment, when the layout trackwork is complete I will be looking in to converting to DCC with sound equipped locos, it is a large expense and those resources would be better spent getting a fully working layout. Sent from my Xperia Z using Tapatalk 2
I posted it in the locomotive of the day thread a couple of pages back hut here it is again. Sent from my Xperia Z using Tapatalk 2
Hmmm. Somehow I missed that one. Too many posts to keep up with! Anyhow, looks really nice. A very effective paint scheme.
Found an unopened kit in one of my boxes so I got that built up yesterday. I am not sure what livery it will be painted in yet. Was good to build something again after all these years! Sent from my Xperia Z using Tapatalk 2
Cargill has some like that. They also have some ACF green hoppers painted for salt. They bought Leslie Salt.
If you want some unopened kits, I have plenty here. Many are undecorated too. You can work on your air brush skills at the same time.
