I did very well this year. Santa Wife gave me a copy of John F. Garden's British Columbia Railway (455 pages, All Color), Great reading even though I am a CPR fan. also under the tree were 6 x N Scale Con Cor CPR passenger Cars, which brings my "Canadian consist" up to 12 cars. Also received a power drill, wrench set, bottle of Rye, bottle of Irish Creme, bottle of Sambuca, bottle of wine (things getting very blurry around here), a watch and the usual assortment of shirts, socks and underwear. Hope I stay sober enough to do some modeling over the next few days and I hope that you all had a great Christmas. Cheers! Terry
Enough track and roadbed to finish the layout from the Missus, and two very nice books from my Father In-Law (Working Stram Engines and the Railroad Encyclopedia). Happy Modeling!! John ------------------ The Santa Fe and Southwestern, Chief of the Southwest!!

I received a tie from the Mrs that when a button is pressed it makes all kinds of RR noises. Also a RR calender with all steam pix and a Railroad Tycoon CD that you can build your own Railroad with buildings and various train consist from my Grandson. All in all, it was a great Christmas Dick
This year my wife and I decided that we would donate to a needy family instead of giving each other gifts. Our children/grandchildren and friends supported us in this venture. The effect this has on other peoples lives is rewarding beyond measure. We are fortunate that we can fund our hobbies so to do this this year was very special. We did receive a few gifts that were specifically for us such as a subscription to the Canadian Railway Modeller for me. ------------------ Robin member #35 Maberly and Tayside
I was not expecting any train stuff. But much to my surprise, Santa left me 3 Accurail ADM grain hoppers, a Roundhouse Corn Syrup tank car, and a custom painted Athearn SW 9 of the Cedar Rapids AND Iowa City Railroad or CRANDIC. Now I just need to finish getting my roadbed and track set up and then I can start playing. Not completely train related but I also got a nice little digital camera and hours upon hours of joy watching my 2 yr. old open and play with his gifts. Bry ------------------ Smile! Merry Christmas to all!
