I have never heard of such a ruler. Can you tell us where to find one. An HO scale would help as well.
I can't find an inch to mm calculator anymore.

Checked on both listings. They appear to be the same item but both places are lousy with descriptions. One is $12, the other $12.50. But 'fiferhobby' has another item I want.
    Thanks guys.

I went to the location listed on the scale in the picture, downloaded the images for N and HO and printed them. They came out accurate.
Now I have more info. (y)

You know the best way to find a missing tool is to order a replacement, then the missing one always magically shows up!

I'm still gonna look for a Model Railroad ruler next time I go to the Hobby Shop. I want to see it in person as the images on the websites are really bad. They should know to take closeup pictures of a specific ruler, so one knows what they are getting online?

I'll also look at Hobby Lobby but not sure they will have a model railroad ruler?

Unfortunately I can no longer go to the two closest Hobby Lobbys and Engine House Services. All at least 30 miles away. So I have to rely on the on line stores and hope I get what I want. One has failed on that measurably.

Late to the game here so getting back to the hedges, the JTT hedges are pretty easy to cut up and resize to what you want. I got this pack a while back. I'm not even sure what scale I would classify them.

The two missing rows were pink blooms and I cut them down to use. Here is a scrap next to the package to give a rough idea. I basically cut them in half vertical and horizontal with a hobby knife giving me double the length pf pink blooms and some just plain green hedges as well from each section.

And here is how I used the cut sections. With the ones in the initial picture, I'd guess you could get a lot of hedge rows out of them.

You have any idea where you bought those? I like the flowers and stuff in them.

Where you find an N Scale Bat Mobile? Sweet!

And here they are from Amazon! N Scale hedges.

I think I got those at a LHS but have seen them on line.

Batmobile came from Target in the same kind of set the Back to the Future DeLorean's were in.

    Those Busch hedges look nice.

Yeah I like them a lot at first glance. Now to try them on the layout. I'll post pictures after I place them on different areas of the layout!

Just some mockup, me likes! Do they look correct to you? They do to me!

The one by the gas station will go there, but I have to position it better and make sure the locomotives won't snag it. Also want to put some in the front area of the gas station, me thinks. Never had hedges before so have to see how they work. Also, eventually cut them for the houses, businesses, etc... Main thing happy with my purchase! The far Right picture those are trash cans, and an N Scale car to give you an idea of what you think. I mean hedges can be very short or very tall too, just like trees.

These are the most manicured hedges I have ever seen that for sure :) All the same exact size and perfect. I know the few free standing ones in my yard are not? Might have to add something to them in the future or paint like someone else did?

As others said I think it is sort of an eyeball thing and customization thing.

Whenever I visit California and I'm driving down the freeway looking into the neighborhoods I'm always amazed at the height of the greenery.

Seeing stuff like this is so common out there. Then almost every driveway is lined with those sharpened pencil like hedges/trees/pines whatever they are.

You see houses that are more hedges than house itself.
