I couldn't believe my luck today finding the D&H Shield here in DENVER, COLORADO so I thought I would start this special topic for those to also post more recent photographs of the D&H Shield.

Darren, feel free to use them on your site, all I ask is for the photo credit. Also, all these and those to follow were taken on May 19,1990. Some of the shots appear to have captured a slight down grade. I think that's the result of a friends' graduation party the night before. [IMG]

The flag on the flag pole to the left is a tiny Canadian flag flying at half mast, this is right after the CP deal went through.

I also figured the day I would see a D&H in Colorado I won't have a camera with me either; I was just lucky and still today can't believe it.

This boxcar is believed to be a D & H. Some of the markings are somewhat of a mystery, however.

Here is the link to several detail shots.

This unit now resides at the Danbury Railway Museum. If you have any information about it, we would greatly appreciate it.
