Well Harold, if there is any room left on your Rail Images album, lets see them! :D

    BTW, how is the hurricane?

    Flash,
Great to hear from you..... not much action on the hurricane, although we could use the rain around here.
Since RailImages is so generous with space, I could try that, but I also have another source as well. [IMG]

    Harold,
Bring on the SBD photos!!!!! That was one of my favorite pre CSX schemes.

    Former L&N SD40s... mmmmmmmm.

    1225 is unique... it's L&Ns first SD40 (i.e, it's a class unit!)

I'm doing a double-take on 1233... I don't see a handbrake! It should be on the end of the long hood..

    Robbman,
I'll see if I have any other views of 1233... I did notice that several photos of various units show the brakewheel on the end of the long hood.
I was also planning to do a "before" and "after",,,, as I am sure you know, several of the older units were rebuilt to SD40-2's that still ply the rails of CSX today.

    Robbman,
I just checked... I don't have any other views of the # 1233... I do have some nice close ups of the rear porch brakewheel on # 1237.

Some of those look decidedly the worse for wear

They would make good models, but would be hard to replicate!
